Trichoglottis atropurpurea, also known in the trade as T. brachiata, is a Philippine epiphyte with distinctive, deep purple-red flowers. Its upright, monopodial growth carries stiff, strap-shaped leaves. Grow warm and humid in bright filtered light with good airflow; an open basket or airy mount suits its exposed roots. Allow roots to dry slightly between waterings.
