Dendrochilum cobbianum “Gold Chain”
Price range: $35.00 through $40.00 Out of Stock
Plant size: A clumping epiphyte with small, closely spaced pseudobulbs and narrow leaves. Mature plants form a compact to spreading clump, with arching flower sprays that can reach around 50 cm.
Flower colour and fragrance: The fine, chain-like racemes carry many small golden-yellow flowers. The selected “Gold Chain” form is noted for its sparkling display; fragrance may be present but can vary between plants.
Flower size and duration: Individual flowers are small, around 1.5–2 cm across, and are displayed in long, densely flowered sprays. Bloom duration varies with growing conditions and is not consistently documented.
Growth habit: A sympodial orchid that produces new growths in a close clump and can develop into a vigorous specimen over time.
Growing notes: Grow in bright filtered light with good humidity and air movement. Use a free-draining orchid mix or mount, and keep evenly moist during active growth without leaving the roots waterlogged. It generally suits warm to intermediate conditions.
Flowering and growth can vary between plants and conditions. The plant supplied will be similar in size and quality to the listing photos.
